Doctor of Naturopathy, Certified Natural Health Practitioner

Not many people can say that they love their job and they enjoy getting up every day and going to work. I am truly blessed and I can honestly say I love my job. I love to work with people, I love to help people and I love to see people feel well again.
For years, I studied the natural health field on my own by reading books, literature, attending classes, and implementing natural remedies in my own personal life. I was my own living testament in the success of natural health. It was then that I decided to pursue my dream of helping others. In July of 2014 I earned my certification as a Natural Health Practitioner and then continued on to graduate in spring of 2016 as a Doctor of Naturopathy otherwise known as a Traditional Naturopath.
I have successfully worked with many clients with fevers, vomiting, headaches, colds/flus, ear infections, bladder infections, pain management, inflammation from broken bones and surgeries, menstrual disorders, menopause, weight loss, skin care and much more using safe natural alternatives.
In more recent years, I have had the extreme pleasure of working with women suffering with infertility issues. All of the women were given a natural protocol to follow in order to help them conceive and shortly thereafter each one of them successfully became pregnant and delivered healthy babies. What a privilege and joy for me to be able to be a part in helping a new life begin. I cry tears of happiness every time a new Mom tells me she is pregnant!
As a natural health practitioner my goal is to address the root cause of your health concerns rather than treating or suppressing your symptoms with potentially harmful drugs. By design, our bodies send us signals otherwise known as symptoms to alert us something is wrong. Suppressing those symptoms with drugs does NOT address the root cause of the problem and therefore the issue still remains within the body, but now it is just “hidden” behind the mask of the drug. The root cause of the suppressed symptoms will still remain and the body will most often continue to deteriorate in other ways manifesting in new symptoms. With that being said, our bodies were naturally designed to heal itself given the appropriate environment and nutrients. I fully believe in working with the body rather than against it in order to achieve wellness.
If you desire a natural approach in dealing with your health concerns then you have come to the right place. I have witnessed time and time again positive results using natural alternatives and my hope is to share them with you as well.
Please note: I also provide Skype and phone consultations for non-local clients.

Disclaimer & Disclosure:
A traditional naturopath is NOT a licensed medical doctor and does NOT diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, cure or claim to cure any disease or condition. Instead, a traditional naturopath specializes in whole body wellness and teaches clients natural approaches to help facilitate the body’s own natural healing potential. A traditional naturopath, often referred to as an “ND” (Doctor of Naturopathy) is a professional that has earned a degree in alternative and complimentary methods that do NOT involve drugs, surgery, or any invasive methods. They are simply teachers of natural health and wellbeing.
Nutrition is the foundation of naturopathic medicine. Good nutrition is extremely important to the prevention of illness. In order to address a current illness nutritional changes are often the first step towards healing. Special diets, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutritional supplements may be recommended.
Herbs are commonly used in the naturopathic health field. Herbs are plants that can be used for nutrition as well as medicinal purposes. Herbs can be extremely beneficial when used in the appropriate dosage and in the correct combination with other herbs.
Based on the principle of “like cures like” homeopathic medicine was developed in the 1700’s. Minute amounts of natural substances are used to stimulate the body’s innate self-healing abilities. I evaluate each client and may suggest a remedy very specific to his or her individual needs.
Based on balancing the flow of energy through meridian pathways acupressure uses gentle but firm pressure on very specific body points. These therapies can be used to relieve pain, promote circulation of blood and enhance the body’s life force energy to aid healing. I teach my clients techniques that they can use at home for themselves and their families.
Physical, emotional, nutritional, spiritual and environmental factors all affect our health. I help clients evaluate and make positive lifestyle choices for themselves.
